Austausch mit der Beijing Jingshan School in China 2025/26

Vom 24. Oktober bis zum 4. November 2025 durften zwölf SchülerInnen wieder am nun zur Tradition gewordenen Austausch mit der Jingshan Schule in Beijing teilnehmen. Die österreichische Delegation führten Dir. Wilfried Svoboda und Mag. Hong-Ling Welter-Yang, die außerdem für die Organisation des Austauschs veranwortlich war, an. Der Aufenthalt in China stellte für alle Beteiligten eine einmalige Gelegenheit dar, in eine komplett andere Welt einzutauchen und ihren Horizont zu erweitern. Auf dem Programm standen Ausflüge unter anderem mit den Gastfamilien und Hospitationen im Unterricht. Dadurch konnten alle einen Einblick in das chinesische Schulsystem und in den Alltag der Menschen in Beijing bekommen. Die Gruppe ist von der Gastfreundschaft unserer chinesischen Partner überwältigt gewesen und freut sich schon sehr auf ihren Besuch im April 2026.

“My 10-day language exchange trip to Bejing was a very positive and valuable experience. Staying with a host family helped me learn about daily life in China and I felt very welcome the whole time.

My exchange partner, Richard, was extremely kind and helpful. He supported me every day, showed me many interesting places and explained a lot about chinese culture. I am very thankful for his hospitality.

During the trip, I visited famous sights like the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and of course the Mutianyu Great Wall. These places were beautiful and taught me a lot about China’s history.

I also enjoyed the food, especially Peking Duck, hotpot and different street snacks. The people in Beijing were friendly, and even though we sometimes had language difficulties, communication worked very well.

The city itself was exciting, with modern areas like the big shopping streets. The public transportation made it easy to get around.

Overall, the trip was very well organised and Iam thankful for the opportunity to learn a lot about the culture, the language and everyday life in China. I had a wonderful time and would love to visit Beijing again in the future. I am also very much looking forward to Richard coming to Austria in the spring!”
